Opening timesOpening times were not on the page we read, and safari last entry varies by date. Giraffe feeding 10.30-11.30am daily May to September (second feed 2-3pm on peak dates). Allow about 2 hours for the drive-through. Soft-top and open-top cars, motorbikes and bicycles are not allowed in the safari.
Best time to goOvercast, drizzly spring weekdays: big cats and wolves are far more active and visible than on hot summer days.
School holiday tipBank holiday weekends cause gridlock on local Wiltshire roads; pre-book arrival slots at least 48 hours ahead. Early July is calm for Scottish visitors.

Top tipsEnter the drive-through safari at opening before the tour buses, or after 2:30pm. Use the marked Monkey Bypass Lane to protect your car, then park in the main lot to explore the house and boat safaris on foot.
