About WhenToGo

Last updated 29 Oct 2026

WhenToGo is a free family day out planner for the UK: family days out, minus the crowds. It shows prices, opening times, parking, food and the quietest days to go for over 1100 places, with every detail dated so you know how fresh it is.

Who runs it

WhenToGo is an independent site, run from the North East of England. Email hello@whentogo.co.uk.

Where the information comes from

• Official venue websites, checked by hand. Each place shows when it was last checked.
• Reports from parents who have visited, checked for spam before they count.
• School holiday dates, used to predict how busy places will be.
• Live theme park queue times from Queue-Times.com.

Spotted something wrong?

Open the place in the planner and tap Report a problem, or email hello@whentogo.co.uk.

Own or work at a venue?

Open your venue in the planner and tap Claim this venue to send us corrections. Claiming a venue never lets you change or remove parent reports.
